As the Seattle area’s only Mack and Volvo Certified Uptime center. When you need your truck serviced, you can trust our team to get your repairs done right and get you back on the road in no time. I have hooked up to other trucks and trailers with the gauge and when you hit the pedal with them it will pressure up the same but will drop all of the air to zero on the blue line as soon as you let off the brake pedal. Our service departments retain highly trained Mack, Volvo, Autocar and Cummins-certified diesel technicians. Then the ABS valve on the trailers will start to slowly open and close dropping around 10 psi every time they open until all the air is gone. Also I put a gauge on the double check again with this separate trailer and if I have 120 psi in my air tanks the blue line will send around 110 psi to the trailer, and when you let off the brake pedal the valves and the quick release only drop around 30 psi. We've had this truck for about 10 years and this just started a few weeks ago, so I don't think it has anything to do with the way they rigged it up just giving information. Also I don't think it will matter but this truck started life as a bobtail dump truck and then someone converted the truck to haul a trailer and turned it into a kill truck. This truck is plumbed a bit different to me. I have changed valves on the trucks brake system also just to see if by some chance if air was leaking through. Also this is doing the same thing with the second trailer I hooked up to it. Educating the motoring public about truck safety, as well as educating returning veterans about the careers in trucking, would not be possible without the generous support of Mack Trucks. There are 2 double check valves on the foot valve, I replaced these valves when I changed the foot valve. Both of the Mack Anthem models that are provided to ATA are integral in telling our story of highway safety and the numerous opportunities in trucking. “Their sponsorship of both our Share the Road and Workforce Heroes programs is outstanding. “We are so thankful for Mack Trucks’ commitment to not only the ATA, but the overall trucking industry,” said Chris Spear, ATA's president and CEO. There have been 45 Workforce Heroes programs conducted since October 2020, reaching 950 people. The Anthem visits military bases, schools, and career fairs. Drivers from the Share the Road program have conducted 210 events since October 2020 with more than 2,500 people.Ī camouflaged-wrapped Mack Anthem is driven by the Share the Road drivers for the Workforce Heroes program to recruit veterans into trucking careers. Utilizing the Mack Anthem model as an educational tool, Share the Road drivers demonstrate to the public the differences between heavy-duty trucks and passenger vehicles, while also explaining stopping distances and blind spots. The professional drivers who participate in the program are among the best of their class, many of whom have 1 million miles or more that have been accident-free. The Share the Road program teaches motorists how to safely drive alongside heavy-duty vehicles on our nation’s roadways. “We are pleased to also support ATA’s Workforce Heroes effort helping veterans who served our country find new careers in the trucking industry, which will benefit from their dedication to service.” “Mack is proud to again contribute to the education of motorists driving on our nation’s highways by extending our commitment to the Share the Road program that educates the general public on how to safely drive around heavy-duty trucks,” said Jonathan Randall, Mack Trucks SVP of sales and commercial operations. Mack donated two Mack Anthem 70-inch Stand-Up sleeper models, equipped with all of the latest safety technologies, one to each of these programs. ATA also will sponsor the Workforce Heroes program in 2022 for the third year in a row. For its 21st year, Mack Trucks will sponsor American Trucking Associations’ (ATA) Share the Road program in 2022.
